MER Network Group

Medical Education Registrars (MERs) are typically registrars from varied specialties and vocational training pathways, who work within the Postgraduate Medical Education unit at a health site. They assist and support the development and delivery of high-quality medical education for junior medical officers.

The MER network group provides the MERs with the opportunity to meet, network, share ideas, keep abreast of projects and trends, and co-operate across sites in the interest of supporting pre-vocational medical education. This document outlines the general duties and responsibilities of the MER.
